It makes me happy and sad sometimes, knowing how different the culture must be for you. I loved the videos and wish I could do that stick dance. I feel the fun and happiness that you speak about. I remember reading about India and how no matter how poor one was they kept a fancy dress in a trunk for celebrations, and that was just about all they had to look forward to. It was in City of Joy which was a much poorer society than this one.
Thanks so much for sharing a true view of your life. It is wonderful. How much longer will you be there? I know from my six weeks there in 1986 that is is so rich, this way of life, even in the difficult things, that sometimes you get filled up and just wish to go home, home being the familiar, and take in all you are learning. But my Guru Adi Da Samraj said that when we went on retreats we wanted to shut down like a dog going into the corner with a bone. He suggested we just take in all that is offered. I believe you are doing it. And I love being with you with this blog to enjoy it.
